Wick carnival club was formed in 1961 at Ye Queens Head in Glastonbury, and over the years has had many successes in winning numerous prizes throughout the last 48 years. The club currently have 40+ members with many different skills and they all play a large part of putting on the cart each year at the seven Somerset carnivals.

The club has recently returned to Ye Queens Head as their headquarters and are very pleased to have Glyn and Michaela as their hosts and for the use of the pub for our meetings. Meetings are held every other Sunday at 7.30pm and anyone wishing to join the club can come along, you may contact Ye Queens Head for dates of the meetings or ring Tom Bremner on 07773 213165; come along and enjoy the fun of being involved in the carnival.
